Volunteer creates hundreds of theatre caps to support The Neonatal Trust

Wellington based volunteer Kaye Wilson has been busy sewing hundreds of fun and funky theatre caps to help support The Neonatal Trust.   These theatre caps are super popular and come in a variety of designs, such as animal designs for veterinary staff and childrens designs for dentists and surgeons operating on children.

You can help support the work of The Neonatal Trust by purchasing an Entertainment membership.  A percentage of all sales goes to The Neonatal Trust to help us continue our support of families of premature or sick full term babies as they make their journey through Neonatal Intensive Care, the transition home, and onwards.

Exactly five years after his son Oscar came home after spending the first month of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Phil is attempting to ride his mountain bike the length of New Zealand in a month, as part of the Tour Aotearoa.

Nathan and Rochelle are proof that a big dream, a lot of time, planning and some hard mahi can make a spectacular difference to not only a neighbourhood, but to a whole town! 

One of New Zealand's smallest babies to celebrate her first birthday

Born at 29 weeks and weighing 490 grams (1lb 1oz), Amairah was given 30% chance of survival, with possible severe disabilities.  She spent a total of 128 days in the NICU Auckland hospital, and is one of the tiniest babies born in New Zealand.  Now she's about to turn 1 and the family are choosing to raise funds to help the work of The Neonatal Trust.
